Race cars are supposed to be built strictly for performance. Every minor detail is calculated to make sure all the parts work with each other, with the final goal being a win on the track. But, even without intentioanlly trying, race cars walk the fine line between technological marvels and beautifully sculpted machines. Yes, it's true -- while you wouldn't normally associate super cars with Denmark, the Zenvo ST1 is a real Danish super car. And, this thing's got power! It's equipped with a V8 1,104 pony galloping engine. It's 7.0 liter 6-speed transmission can push the Zenvo ST1 from 0-60 in just 3 seconds, and, for safety and legal reasons, the car is electronically limited to 232 mph. Still fast enough in my book.

1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo
Yesterday, Lamborghini made an annoucement that broke most motoring purists' hearts. Just like Ferrari, Lamborghini has announced that it will leave manual transmissions to the history books. Car and Driver reports that the decision was part of the company's commitment to increasing the fuel economy of its models. In addition, Lambo plans on building ever-lighter exotics.
Don't plan on seeing any turbocharged Gallardos in the next few years, however. Most automakers are using forced induction to curb fuel consumption, but Lambo has no plans to add turbochargers to their engines.

So, you think you know a super car when you see one? You ain't seen nothing yet. Check out this list of the most expensive cars in the world. They're luxurious, lustworth and FAST. Although we will never be able to afford to drive one, not even to rent for one hour, we still like to drool over them.
Just to be clear, these cars are recently produced cars that are available today in quantities of 20 or more. So, the 1961 Ferrari 250GT that sold for $11 million this year will not be on the list, got it? Here we go...
