It's really interesting to see how a car varies from year to year. The cars that have been around for decades, like the Toyota Corolla or Honda Accord have seen major changes (improvements) in their body styles throughout the years. And, of course, cars manufacturers that have been around for centuries have seen even more drastic changes in their models. The Bugatti website has a neat timeline of a bunch of different models they've produced throughout the years. It's crazy to see how much  cars have evolved from the 1900-01 Type 2 model pictured above to the 1991-94 EB 110 model below. Check out the complete timeline on their site.  

It may be an oxymoron, but Nissan has designed a hybrid race car: the Nissan Altima Hybrid Race Car. Built by Braille Battery, this Nissan Altima has a whopping 440 hp and can click off 12.9 second quarter mile times. And, it does this while getting a 57% better fuel economy rate over non-hybrid race Altima cars.

It's powered by the stock 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, but the engine has been reworked to run on E85 fuel. Most of its horsepower comes from a Vortech Electric Supercharger. In addition, the Nissan Altima Hybrid Race Car is also eqipped with a full BC Coilover Suspension Kit, Wilwood Brake Kit, a full array of Sparco safety enhancements, APR carbon fiber splitter, VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood, Stillen Body Kit and a custom exhaust featuring a "green leaf" exhaust tip.

You think Batman is some made-up super hero, don't you? Well, then explain how I saw him drive right by me the other day. Ok, maybe I didn't really see him, but 'm sure some of you out there have. Or, at least an obsessive fan who designed a $1,000,000+ Batmobile replica.

It started when a wealthy Swede purchased a 1973 Lincoln Continental. 3 years and $1 million later, he ended up with a real-life replica of the famous Batmobile. The replica is loaded with gadgets and has built-in satellite navigation, voice recognition, machine guns, reversing cameras, a DVD player, a plasma TV and even height-adjustable bodywork. Oh, and did I mention it has 700 hp?

Unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show, this is the new Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. It's the lightweight edition of Lambo's littlest super car, weighing in at about 88lbs lighter than a standard Gallardo. It uses more carbon fibre throughout the cabin, including the center console and seat shells, but the biggest savings in weight come from the new lightweight wheels. Those alone cut off about 28.5 pounds.  

Equipped with a 5.2L V10, with 561 hp, it's also the most powerful Gallardo. It can hit 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 202 mph.
