Forbes' List of Worst-Made Cars on the Road

 

Week after week, I post blogs featuring cars you (and I) could probably never afford to own, but we love to lust after. This week, I have a different kind of blog... cars we could possibly afford to own, but shouldn't. Why? Well, these are the cars that made Forbes' list of the worst-made cars on the road. Whether it's due to their poor safety performance, poor overall value, poor dependability, or all of the above, these are cars you should steer clear of. You might be surprised to see which cars made the list.

Cadillac Escalade

 

Overall score: 61 out of 100. Rated among the worst in overall value and safety performance. Rated fair on predicted reliability score. MSRP: $62,495

 

Chevrolet Aveo

 

Overall score: 36 out of 100. Not rated among the worst in overall value or safety, but rated poor in predicted reliability. MSRP: $11,965.

Chevrolet Colorado

 

Overall score: 41 out of 100. Rated among the worst in overall safety performance, but not in overall value. Poor predicted reliability. MSRP: $16,985.

Dodge Nitro

 

Overall score: 33 out of 100. Rated among the worst in overall value, but not in safety performance. Poor predicted reliability score. MSRP: $22,335

Ford F-250

 

Overall score: 37 out of 100. Rated among the worst in both overall value and overall safety performance. Poor predicted reliability score. MSRP: $28,020

GMC Canyon

 

Overall score: 41 out of 100. Rated among the worst in overall value, but not in overall safety. Poor predicted reliability score.

Jeep Wrangler
